Shakara couture, owned by creative director Ewemade Erhabor Emokpae gerts her inspiration from the 1950′s housewife style which involves the use of silhouettes, hats, the corseted waist, full knee-length skirts with models doing the basics like keeping up appearances, trimming the hedges and doing some fruit shopping at the market. A decade which has heavily influenced the brand and its signature cuts and shapes from time.
