I did not want to put up a post about this but it is sad when you read about the negative effects of the social media. A Ghanian actress Juliette Ibrahim who I thought would have more sense twitted about the amount of money that is being raised as excessive.......

I know you have an NGO that deals with creating awareness for kidney cancer, you should therefore know about aftercare and how extremely expensive it is especially in Nigeria. Nigerian government, you should be ashamed that a fundraiser is needed at all. Why do the less privileged have to die because they can't afford dialysis talk less of the transplant, do your part. The entire amount is less than what one of you would have a party with.
