A Girl Should Be Two Things: Classy and Fabulous......Coco Chanel

The above quote is one of fashion’s most famous for a reason – it’s true. Following trends and looking “of the moment” is fun, but it’s even more important to understand the style rules that stand the test of time. Classic fashion icons like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Coco Chanel aren’t revered today because they were fashion victims who only wore the latest clothes. Instead, they understood basic, indisputable fashion rules and how to use them.
Instead of talking about the latest trends, today I want to focus on something more lasting – a list of 10 fashion tips that will never go out of style. I’m sure none of these rules are brand new to you guys, but since we’re always talking about trends, I thought it would be nice to remind ourselves what real style is.
1. The hourglass figure is forever in.

Marilyn Monroe knew this rule best – her curvy hourglass look has had men lusting after her and women wanting to be her for half a century! Marilyn’s look has forever solidified her as one of the sexiest woman in history. Learn from Ms. Monroe and realize that the hourglass shape is always flattering on any woman. When in doubt, look for clothes that nip in at the waist and draw attention to that area. Not blessed with Marilyn-esque curves? Fake it with a great belt or high waisted skirt.
2. You can’t go wrong with a little black dress.

If you only learn one thing from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s, let this be it. Ever since Audrey Hepburn sported that iconic raven Givenchy frock, the LBD has become a closet staple for every woman.
If you don’t own a little black dress yet, what’s stopping you? These dresses are always available in stores. If you want a piece that will stand the test of time, however, you’ll have to veer away from the discount shops & spend a little more for a dress that’s well-made. The extra effort will pay off,
though, when you have that dress for the rest of your life.
3. Don’t be too perfect.

My Mother Encouraged Me To Go Into Prostitution says Kaffy the Dance Queen

Dancer and musician Kaffy dropped a bombshell while she was addressing a group of youths at a recent programme.Kaffy reportedly said her mother nearly made her go into prostitution so as to make ends meet.

The dance guru added that she had to pay her way through school as she did not attend the conventional school that every other child attends. She had to wait for the regular school goers to close from school so that she could borrow their books and cover up but luck smiled on her when she made a record for herself and country at Amstel Malta World Marathon Dance, by breaking the existing record for the Guinness Book of World Records through dance. And ever since, she has not relented on her oars.

Kaffy believes people need to learn how to read between the lines so that they won’t be misguided ’cause sometimes, the people you look up to may be the one that will lead you astray.

Have You Met Omar? The Man That Was Just Too Handsome.

Earlier this month it was reported that a group of Emirati men, attending a cultural festival in Saudi Arabia, had been deported by the authorities, because, according to Arabic newspaper Elaph: “They are too handsome and the commission members feared female visitors could fall for them.”
It's certainly a striking image, but is Omar Borkan Al Gala, poet, actor and internet sensation, one of the men who was too sexy for Saudi Arabia?
Earlier this week, three men were forcibly removed from a culture festival in Saudi Arabia after religious police deemed the men "too handsome".
According to Arabic language newspaper Elaph a festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and there were concerns that female visitors could fall for them.
Until now the identities of the three illegally handsome men has been unknown, but web speculation now suggests that one of them at least could be Omar Borkan Al Gala.

French and Cameroon Paid N500m To Boko Haram For The French Hostages

French and Cameroonian negotiators may have paid the equivalent of $3.15m (about N500m) to Boko Haram for the release of a family of seven French hostages.
Reuters quotes a confidential report by the Nigerian government as saying that the ransom was paid to the group to secure the release of the family on April 19.
The memo does not say who paid the ransom for the family of seven, although it says Cameroon freed some Boko Haram detainees as part of the deal.
France and Cameroon reiterated denials that any ransom was paid. Nigerian authorities declined to comment.
Armed men on motorcycles snatched Tanguy Moulin-Fournier, his wife, brother and the couple’s four young children, the youngest of whom was four years old, on February 19 while they were on holiday near the Waza national park in north Cameroon, some 10 kilometres from the Nigerian border. They were believed to have been held in North-East Nigeria.

Boston Bombings Suspects' Mother Zubeidat Has Been On The Terrorism Database For The Past 18 Months

Zubeidat started reading and learning about Islam and grew increasingly religious alongside Tamerlan. She quit her job and started doing facials in her own home because she didn't want to work on men any longer. Her sister-in-law, Maret Tsarnaeva, said she was startled by Zubeidat's religious transformation, after noticing she started covering herself with a veil.
"We're not used to seeing her like that because she used to wear high heels and a low dress," Maret said.
Sometime between 2007 and 2009, Zubeidat felt that Tamerlan was "slipping into a life of marijuana, girls and alcohol."
"I told Tamerlan that we are Muslim, and we are not practicing our religion, and how can we call ourselves Muslims?" Zubeidat said. "And that's how Tamerlan started reading about Islam, and he started praying, and he got more and more and more into his religion."
Tamerlan radically transformed as a result. He quit drinking a smoking and even gave up boxing because he said it went against the Islamic religion to punch another man in the face.
The FBI confirmed that they met with Tamerlan under an investigation to extremist ties, however, they didn't find any incriminating evidence against him.
"They came and asked him, what are you doing, what are you up to?" Zubeidat recalled. "They said Tamerlan was an influential lad, he had the personality of a leader and they asked me, 'Don't you have any thoughts that he could organize some kind of group of a terrorist persuasion?' They said they'd seen what kind of videos he'd been looking at. And they told me that they keep young leaders among Muslims under control so there aren't any bombings, so that they don't fall under someone's influence."
Tamerlan is thought to have maintained a YouTube account featuring videos sympathizing with radical Muslims.
