Kanye West allegedly pocketed $3 million to perform in a former Soviet republic with a rotten reputation for its human rights record.
According to the Guardian newspaper, West performed at a wedding Saturday for the grandson of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
West pulled out his big hits, including "Can't Tell Me Nothing", for his private gig at the Hotel Royal Tulip in the capital Almaty, TMZ reports.

WITH only some 50 years of independent national existence, Nigeria is a country reeking with “new money.” The overwhelming proportion of the millionaires and billionaires in the country are “nouveau-riche;” they became rich literally “overnight.” We are talking of people whose wealth does not go beyond a generation.
Indeed, the fantastic wealth of Nigerian billionaires like Femi Otedola scarcely goes beyond ten/fifteen years. Not only does Nigeria’s wealthy few have a short history, they often have a short future as well. The money comes “miraculously” and goes just as “miraculously.”
Nope! It wasn't on her arm. Lol.
In a recent interview with Encomuim,ex-hubby of Ayo Adesanya Actor/producer, Omogoriola Hassan reacted to news about her removing a tattoo that reminded her of him.
"The biggest lesson I learnt was not to trust anyone. The person you trust may eventually disappoint. Then I was the greatest fool but today I am the wisest and happiest. Marrying Ayo then was like boarding a 'one-chance' vehicle. It was like I could never come across a woman I can love like that not knowing I was just being foolish. If not that she had a baby for me, I would have revealed a lot about her. Will just keep them to myself in the interest of our son. But I was agitated when I read that she wants to remove the tattoo on her hand bearing our logo - No Fear. She is free to do but what about the one on her ass where my name was written bold, Omogoriola Hassan? How is she going to remove that? That is stupid of her. If at all you don't like someone again, that doesn't mean you need to go to that extent. But believe me she's still thinking about me because if she's not she wouldn't be thinking about removing my tattoos on her body."

Facebook, Twitter and Google have been caught snooping on messages sent across their networks, new research claims, prompting campaigners to express concerns over privacy.
The findings emerged from an experiment conducted following revelations by US security contractor Edward Snowden about government snooping on internet accounts.
Experts at its Geneva HQ then waited to see which companies clicked on the website.
During the ten-day operation, six of the 50 companies tested were found to have opened the link.
Among the six were Facebook, Twitter, Google and discussion forum Formspring.

Nigerian politics is ever evolving never always for the better as we have seen in recent years. Some members of the ruling party (PDP) at their convention which held yesterday took a drastic decision. Nigeria’s former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and seven other state governors walked out of the convention and went to form a faction of the party, Abubakar Kawu Baraje, a former acting National Chairman of the PDP, was announced as the leader of the new faction of the party.
After addressing an impromptu press conferenec, a former Osun State Governor and National Secretary of the PDP, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, was announced as the National Secretary of the new PDP faction.

A statement was released today : “Former President Nelson Mandela has this morning, 1 September 2013, been discharged from the Pretoria hospital where he has been receiving treatment.
“Madiba’s condition remains critical and is at times unstable. Nevertheless, his team of doctors are convinced that he will receive the same level of intensive care at his Houghton home that he received in Pretoria.
“His home has been reconfigured to allow him to receive intensive care there. The health care personnel providing care at his home are the very same who provided care to him in hospital.”
The Presidency added: “We would like to wish him all the best as he continues his recovery at his Johannesburg home.”
This is just silly. I would love to see what he ends up with when all of his request have been met. Lol.
